need to understand one another.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Understanding others... is already better communication.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In business, a large part of tensions, misunderstandings, or friction does not stem from a real disagreement... but simply from poor communication.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We don't all perceive the world in the same way.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We don't all process information through the same channels.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is where Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) provides essential insight: we think with our senses.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>VAKOG: an interpretation of thought processes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The VAKOG model identifies five representation systems:<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\">\n<table mean.\u00bb<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Auditory<\/td>\n<td>Speech, rhythm, verbal logic<\/td>\n<td>\u00abThat sounds about right.\u00bb<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Kinesthetic<\/td>\n<td>Sensations, emotions, movement<\/td>\n<td>\u00abI have a good feeling about it.\u00bb<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Olfactory<\/td>\n<td>Smells, atmosphere<\/td>\n<td>Rare in business, but influential<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Taste<\/td>\n<td>Flavor, symbolic of taste<\/td>\n<td>More metaphorical in the pro<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone has all five channels\u2014but one or two are dominant.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>At work, speaking the other person's sensory language changes everything.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few simple examples:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For a visual profile \u279c show the vision, diagrams, clean slides<\/li>\n\n<li>For an auditory learner \u279c choose precise words, allow time to listen\/understand<\/li>\n\n<li>To a kinesthetic learner \u279c get moving, make it concrete, connect to emotion<\/li>\n\n<li>In team meetings \u279c mix media to reach everyone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Result:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 less friction<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 greater understanding<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 Faster and smoother decisions<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 Harmonious and effective professional relationships<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A powerful model\u2026 to be used ethically<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would like to reiterate that VAKOG is not a label:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u274c We don't put people into boxes.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714\ufe0f We adapt to their natural mode of expression.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In professional coaching, this allows:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>to open up new cognitive pathways<\/li>\n\n<li>to develop relational flexibility<\/li>\n\n<li>to reveal often underutilized resources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p
